With just 3 weeks to go until the Jubilee Community Picnic arrangements are well under way. The picnic will be held on Sharpham Road Playing Fields from 12 noon to 4pm on Friday 3rd June and all residents and visitors are invited to bring a picnic and meet up with friends and neighbours. Drinks will be available in the new community pavilion and entry will be free to everyone.

12.00 Arrival
12.30 Hand bell ringing in the Pavilion Function Room
1.00 Jubilee Fancy Hat parade and competition judging (children and adult categories)
1.30-2.15 Live music from U3A Rocks
1.30-3.30 Children’s games
3.00-3.45 Live music from U3A Rocks
4.00 Finish
Games for childen of all ages will be run by Sports Masters Games with 4 coaches. There will be a selection including; tagging, dodgeball and parachute games plus old favourites like tug o’war and relay races.
Please walk if you can as car parking is limited and don’t forget your picnic and something to sit on.
