The Pump Track project was the brain child of local charity Ride Mendips. The group, run by a team of local mountain bikers, raised over £100,000 for the project through various grants and fundraising events. The track is located at Sharpham Road playing fields near to the existing skatepark.
The track was constructed by Bristol based Architrail Velosolutions with the project taking 8 weeks, and was officially opened on Saturday 2nd April 2022.
The track is now maintained by Cheddar Parish Council.
