First Bus Service – 126 bus
The 126 bus service operates between Wells and Weston-Super-Mare via Axbridge and Cheddar and connecting busses to Weston General Hospital and Weston College (Loxton Campus).
Starting 7 April 2026, all buses will run beyond Weston-super-Mare Interchange to and from the Rail Station. Buses towards Cheddar and Wells will pick up on the opposite side of the
Interchange at stop E. There will be some changes to the timetable to improve punctuality and to provide better connections at the Helicopter Museum with buses to and from Weston General
Hospital and Weston College (Loxton Campus). This new timetable will operate until 5 September 2026.

Mendip Community Transport offers number of services including:
Slinky bus

• Group transport
Accessible minibuses that can carry up to 16 passengers.

• Dial a Car service (Hospital Cars)
The service provides transport for individuals to outpatient departments at hospitals and other medical appointments and has been extended to include Cheddar and Axbridge.

• Sedgemoor ‘Slinky’ services for Somerset Council 
Slinky is an accessible door-to-door bus service funded by Somerset Council for people who are unable to access conventional transport in the old Sedgemoor area.

Sedgemoor Community Transport
Accommodates groups, individuals, wheelchair users and isolated communities without access to any public transport. As well as our minibuses, Sedgemoor Community Transport have a pool of private car drivers who volunteer their time to provide transport to hospital and doctor appointments, shopping or to link with public transport, again with a friendly door to door service.
