Following recent negotiations Cheddar Parish Council is pleased to confirm the future of Sharpham Roads Playing Fields parkrun. The parish council has been in discussion with parkrun Limited in order that a Conditions of Hire agreement be signed, a requirement for every hirer of council’s facilities, under the terms of the council’s insurers.
Derek Bradley-Balmer, chairman of the parish council said “The parish council is delighted to have now received the signed agreement that covers both parties. All members are aware of the benefits of parkrun and how much this event means to the community, and we’re pleased that we can now confirm its future at Sharpham Road”.
